The BEST contains over 500 questions gathered, written, and reviewed by the 2022 BEST Subcommittee. The question bank offers two modes: Practice and Mock Exam. You can review and familiarize yourself with the content and format of these questions in the practice mode, where you will receive instant feedback, rationales, and references. When you are ready, you can test your knowledge by taking the "Mock Exam" - a 200-question randomized test, preset to match the weighted percentages outlines by the exam blueprints.

2. Instructions to access and use the Board Exam Study Tool (BEST):
1. Log in to the question bank with your ASAM eLearning Center email and password
2. Select Practice Exam or Mock Exam
3. In Practice Exam, select sturdy or exam mode
4. Select core content (study topic) areas you would like to be tested on
5. Select questions based on addiction that you would like to be tested on
6. Specify number of questions
7. Create a title, set a timer (if desired), and click "Create"
8. Click on "Start Practice Exam" to begin
3. Reviewing Results:
Click on the title of the practice exam (in study or exam mode) to review results and score.
4. Retrying Quiz:
After reviewing the quiz, participants can retake exams by clicking on the blue“Retake Practice Exam” button located at the top of the screen.
